EP.6 | Don't Drop an Empty Barbell

Don't ever drop an empty bar!

If you are a CrossFit gym owner or a coach, you know how frustrating this can be!  The sound alone when a barbell sleeve hits the ground is dreadful.  Most gym members out there are simply naïve to what is actually happening inside the bar sleeve when it hits the ground when it is empty.

As a gym owner and coach, it is our responsibility to inform our members of proper use.  By simply taking the extra five minutes before class every once in awhile while demoing a movement, you can engrain this into your classes.  The result: barbells that last much longer and a happier lifter.
